Best beauty products under £5.00?
Some of the most frequent questions many beauty bloggers get asked include questions such as "What makeup should I buy that costs under £5.00?" and today I'm going to show you my top five drugstore picks that I would recommend.
MUA lipsticks
I love the MUA line in superdrug, the makeup starts from just £1.00 and I own many things from there but one of my favourite things are the lipsticks that cost only a pound. I currently own five shades as one melted and had to be thrown out as it went everywhere but I will continue to buy more shades!
Rimmel Scadeleyes eyeliner
This was the first eyeliner I actually love and tthe first one that gave me a perfect line. It has a really thin tip but you can also make quite thick lines too. I bought this product when it was on an offer for just over £3.00 but I know it retails for about £5.50 but when I recently popped into my local savers all their Rimmel products are under £5.00 including this which was only £4.98. It also comes on an offer quite a lot in places like boots and superdrug so look out for them.
MUA Eyeliners
Once again, something else from the MUA line in superdrug. These eyeliners are gorgeous and are so pigmented, it has to be the darkest black eyeliner I've ever tried. They don't always stay on your water or tight line very often and tend to smudge underneath your lower lashes but what can you expect for a pound! Nevertheless, I will be buying some more shades very soon!
Sleek Blushes
These blushes are just under £5.00 and they are definitely my favourite blushes! I have one in the shade 'lifes a peach' which looks bright orange but it comes out really nice and a soft peach which you can build up if you prefer something a bit bolder. I plan on buying one of their blush palettes where you get three for £9.99 so still an absolute bargain!

I have done a review on these eyeliners here which you can read for a more in depth review and swatches. These eyeliners are very pigmented. Many glitter eyeliners, the glitter gets stuck the stick connected to the applicator instead of the applicator itself and the glitter never transfers onto your eye very well but these are the complete opposite and look gorgeous on the eyes.

On Mothers day, My family and I took a trip to a near by village called Clare to have a nosey round. It is a gorgeous village with lovely old houses, a huge park and a large antique warehouse which is always fun to look round. While we were walking around, I managed to quickly snap these pictures, I decided to take a larger lens on my camera to get better pictures of nature but turns out it isn't great for first time users (For example: my Mum) to use for outfit pictures...

It has been slightly warmer in the UK this weekend so I've been able to ditch the big winter coat and fluffy socks and embrace the couple of days we have in march where wearing things like shoes and no socks is alot more acceptable.
This is my first pair of Topshop jeans and I absolutly love them. I had a giftcard from Christmas that I still hadn't spent so I convinced myself to buy some jeans as they will last for ages and will never go out of fashion.
Anyway, I hope you liked this outfit post. I will admit that the picture aren't perfect as I left my SD card in my laptop and only had a limited amount of internal memory but I hope they do the outfit justice.

168 Eyeshadow palette | Review
Hello lovelies, today I'm going to talk about the 168 eyeshadow palette. I was given this for Christmas from my Mum and Dad and I have used it so much since then. I use this mostly for trying out different and more 'un-natural' makeup looks such as bright eye shadows and Halloween type looks.
Most of these shades are quite pigmented such as the blues, purples, blacks, pinks, reds etc. (see middle picture) All those colours are lovely and also apply to the eyes really nicely and look even better with a white base shadow. The only ones that aren't quite as good are the usual culprits like the yellows (see middle picture) but these are still buildable and work better with a white base shadow.
This palette would be great if you are a beginner with makeup or even if you are an absolute pro, it's perfect for everyone. There is such a range in colours and give you the ability to try and recreate so many different amazing looks. Another great thing about this palette is that it is so affordable and you can buy a similar one here for a very affordable price.

MUA Velvet lip lacquer | Reveiw
Today I am going to review the MUA velvet lip lacquer. I think these have only recently been released but I hadn't been able to get my hands on them without ordering them however, I managed to get my hands on this one in a superdrug in Ipswich but they had very limited stock.
I bought one of them in the shade 'funk' as I wasn't keen on the shade 'kooky' as it is a little bit to dark for everyday use which I like to be able to wear a majority of my lipsticks on an everyday basis.
These lip lacquers don't go on your lips patchy and they really do make a statement. For £3.00 they are lovely for that price. I can't compare then with the Rimmel apocolips or any other lip lacquers, my only fault with them is that they are quite sticky on your lips to start off with but that usually drys quickly. They also last quite a long time but I always have it in my handbag for touch ups.
