She turned her can'ts into cans and her dreams into plans. | Motivational Monday #1

Hello you lovely bunch of people, Today is the grand unveiling of my new series on my blog which is named 'Motivational Monday'. I have spent sometime trying to write a blog post on self confidence but it needs a bit of work and will sadly not be available for you to read for a few weeks as it needs tweaking and it is a long and quite a deep post so until I pull my stuff together and finish that post, I decided to begin spreading some confidence and motivation around by posting a new blogpost every Monday with a lovely little quote on it to hopefully stop the Monday blues.
I like to surround my self with happy quotes and motivational ones too as a reminder of the possibilities the future could bring me and to continuously remind me that anything is possible as long as I put my mind to it and work my bum off to get there but surprisingly these things do actually work.

This picture always reminds me of something that my Nan would say to me. My Nan is my rock and whenever I'm sad all the tears fall onto her and she is the main person to push me towards my dreams and never letting me forget about it but I love her for that.

As a child, I was continuously told the phrase "There's no such word as can't!" which you tend to just forget about it but I suppose it is very true. I have recently been looking at the makeup course I would like to take at a college and firstly, it seems to be quite a hard course to get into with not many places available and the makeup industry itself is extremely hard to get into but it is something I'm determined to do and I think that everyone needs to be reminded of this quote right throughout their life so if you want to do something then you really just need to go out and do it as there really is no time to waste!

I hope you have enjoyed my first motivational Monday and I hope there will be many more to come *raises imaginary glass* so I look forward to speaking to you next Monday and I hope you have a really good day whatever you are doing!

Wet n' Wild 'comfort zone' palette | Reveiw

So my Nan and Grandad recently went away to America on holiday and offered to bring me back a couple of makeup bits that we cant get over here in the UK. I was so excited about this and immediately made a list of some things I wanted.

One of the first things I put down on my list was the Wet n' Wild 'comfort zone' palette. Ever since I started getting into makeup (around the age of 12) youtube had been around. Back then it was the time where you could simply upload a video using your webcam and film it in one take; If you messed up, you would just start the word again, No fancy editing or anything! As soon as I knew makeup was my thing, I started becoming obsessed with watching peoples makeup collections, reviews and hauls and I felt like everyone who lived in America had this product. It was a must have and it fascinated me. Once I had seen it being mentioned time after time, I looked on some blogs (which had just started becoming a 'thing') and all I saw over and over again was that apparently this palette had some amazing MAC eyeshadow dupes. Being a lover of makeup but only 12, you can't really afford the amazingly pigmented, top of the range eyeshadows that MAC have to offer so you stuck to gazing at dupes that hoped one day you would be able to get your hands on one.

Now in all honesty, I didn't really know much about what was a good eyeshadow and what was a bad one at the time and I didn't think to have a look at more reviews before asking for this palette so I didn't expect too much as I couldn't remember some of the amazing things that had been said about this palette but as soon as I swatched that first cream highlight colour, I was shocked, not only at the pigmentation but at the quality of the eyeshadow!

I continued to swatch and swatch until I and all the colours running up may arm. I just couldn't believe had amazingly pigmented these are and there isn't one eyeshadow in this palette that lets it down. They are all amazing and now I can under stand how these compare to MAC eyeshadows.

My three favourite colours have to be the three darkest. Each one had an iridescent shimmer and the last one in the green/grey side has a gorgeous bluey orangy shine to it that I definitely do not currently own in my collection and can't wait to add this little gem to it!

Overall these colours are gorgeous and unbelievably amazing quality for a palette that retails for around $4.99 (Which is about £2.98 in the UK if my converter is correct) so if you are either going on holiday to the states, fancy ordering it or live in America (if you do then lucky you!) I definitely recommend picking this up! I cannot speak highly enough of it!
