Dreamy Workspaces...

As part of the new Motivational Monday post, I wanted to do room inspiration posts which will mainly come from Pinterest (Follow me here!) and Pinterest is definitely my favourite place on the big wide web for all lovely things so if you have never looked on Pinterest then you have definitely been living under a rock as it is a bloggers dream!

Anyway, although I really like my office space, I am always looking to change it and I am planning on switching things up very soon so I have been looking for different things to either DIY, buy or design for my office so that is something I have been doing recently and if there is anything you would like to see, such as the change or a little tour then let me know and I will do it!

Anyway, I hope this is the first of many room inspiration posts; I hope you enjoyed so I shall talk to you in Thursdays post and I hope you have had or are having a good day! This has ended rather strangely and randomly but toodle pip!

Bargain of the Moment

I picked up this gorgeous pair of shoes from Primark recently. Primark! Can you believe it?! I know they may not be everybody's cup of tea but I absolutely adore them and I only payed £3.00 for them! I have had so much fun playing around with styling them recently that they were completely worth it even if they only go with a few outfits!

These shoes are part of Primark's limited edition collection and originally cost about £23 so were reduced by £20 which is an absolute bargain! These feel such good quality and feel pretty sturdy, the only thing I would say is that the toe part is quite long so they are quite hard to walk in to start with but you get used to it pretty quickly. The have a zip up the back so are easy to slip on and off and the material on the front is little individual hairs to add a really cool texture!

Let me know how you would wear these and what you would style them with!

Paris in Pictures.

I went to Paris a few weeks ago as part of a school trip. We left at three in the morning and got home at 12.30 at night and we crammed so much into those hours. We went up the Eiffel tower, To Le Louvre, the Scare Couer, Lovers bridge, to the Notre Dame and many more places along the way. I took my Mum's Sony Bridge camera as it is much lighter and easier to use than my Canon 600d and I didn't have to keep swapping lenses which was a bonus but I was still able to get some good quality shots which I thought I would share with you.

All of these have been edited using the 'Valencia' filter on Instagram and I have upped the brightness a tiny bit on some but apart from that little bit of editing, they haven't been touched!

There were so many little details on the Eiffel tower that so many people just walked past but I jumped at every photo opportunity. Obviously I still took many of the views but the inside of it was so cute and very photogenic!

Unfortunately, when we visited Lovers bridge, all the sides had been boarded up so I couldn't get a nice shot of the locks on the bridge so instead I had to settle for the sides instead which still gave a really lovely and colourful picture which was one of my favourite I took all day!

I obviously had to do the little touristy thing at the Louvre (Cheesy I know!)

Quick outfit mention:
Top | H&M
Jeans | Topshop Joni jeans
Coat | Topshop (last year)
Shoes | Converse
Necklace | Primark

The lipstick I wore is my new favourite from MAC in the shade craving. I absolutely adore it and I wear it all the time!

I hope this quick little Paris post wasn't too boring and if you enjoyed seeing some of my pictures that I took, I was thinking about doing some more photography posts in the future as I jump at any opportunity to get a nice photo so please let me know if that's something you would like to see!

Creating Small Changes...

Change is often, if not always a good thing. Although you may lose something good you will always gain something better. If something is making you unhappy then you need to change the thing that is causing it and it's fine to let things go whether it is objects or people. Always think of your happiness (just don't become selfish!)

I have decided to change my Monday blog pots. I may be a little bit inactive soon as I have my GCSE exams coming up really soon but I shall try to dedicate some time in between my revision so I can write the posts and schedule them. I have decided to change my Monday blog posts; They will still be chatty posts but 'Motivational Monday' won't just be quotes now, it will be anything from fashion, room or fitness inspiration to motivation for revision or healthy recipes so it will be a post on being the better version of myself and not sticking with the gross food and bad revision skills. I hope you will enjoy me throwing this kind of post into the mix and if there are any blogposts you would like to see then pop them in the comments or let me know and I'll plan them!

Sorry this post wasn't very 'motivational' or long, I just wanted to let you know of the new changes.

My Spring Base Makeup.

Primer | L'oreal nude magique 'blur cream'
Foundation | L'oreal nude magique eau de teint
Concealer | MAC Select cover up

My current base has been a little bit more natural and lighter in consistency compared to my winter foundations.I have recently dug through my makeup stash and pulled out the L'Oreal Paris Nude Magique Eau De Teint  foundation (wow, that's a mouthful) which I bought a few months back but never really used. I have been using this foundation for a couple of weeks and have fallen in love with he consistency. The one thing I will say is that it feels quite greasy when you first apply it and does feel slightly weird however, it doesn't affect how I feel about the overall product. It gives your skin a really lovely glossy and natural finish but although it seems natural, it has a medium coverage which is easily buildable. It really is a lovely foundation.

The primer I am currently using is one from the same line. The L'Oréal Nude Magique Blur Cream is my current favourite primer. It is a dupe of the Benefit Porefesional however, it isn't as thick in consistency as that therefore, doesn't completely cover all of your pores but it does do a very good job of priming your face. I'm not entirely sure if this primer is actually supposed to stick your makeup to your face but it does create a smooth base which just makes your foundation look that little bit better.

The MAC Select cover up concealer is quickly becoming my all-time favourite concealer. As much as I loved the collection lasting perfection concealer and the maybelline instant age rewind, I think this just tops it. It has amazing coverage with out looking cake and unnatural and doesn't crease under your eyes which is something that I found with all the others. Although it is a little pricey, in my opinion, it is worth the investment and a little goes a long way so it should last you ages.

I hope you enjoyed reading my Current Spring base makeup and Im thinking about doing one of these for my current eye makeup swell so let me know if you would like to see one of those too!
