Fantastic Friday #1

So for the month of February I am doing a series on my blog called fantastic Friday where I will write a review on something that I have been loving for that week. Sounds simple but I thought it would be a fun way to squeeze in another blog post during the week.

Soap and Glory 'Scrub 'em and leave 'em' Body buff
Available here

I am currently obsessed with this product and I use this all the time. It smells delicious and it's pink! I apply this and then wash it off under the shower. Once the water mixes with it it turns into a moisturiser and then washes off really easily. I was given this as part of a gift set for Christmas and I'm so glad it was one of the full size products. My favourite body scrub I have tried so far!

I really hope you have enjoyed the first mini review in my little fantastic Friday series. Hopefully next week it will be a much longer review but today I thought I would mostly just tell you about the series. Make sure you check back every Friday when I'll post another one of these! So did you enjoy it? What products have you been loving recently?

Reveiw | beautyuk glitter eyeliners

beautyuk glitter eyeliners | available here

I have had these eyeliners for a little while now but I have never used them. I was searching through my collection the other day and came across these two. I swatched them and now I love them so I thought I would do a quick review to let you know how good they are.

I can't actually remember purchasing them so I think I was sent them or got them free with something but I have only just taken notice of them. They are available on the beautyuk site but only in silver and gold which are more wearable shades than bright green and blue but I still absolutely love these!

I have 6 which is the blue one and shade 3 which is the green one. I'm sorry that the picture of the swatches isn't very clear but it only took one application to get them to look like that. The glitter doesn't stick to the applicator wand which is always a good thing. If you were going to wear them as a liner, you would still need a matching coloured base to make them stand out but nevertheless, they are still worth the tiny price tag.

I hope this review was helpful and inspired you to have a look round the beautyuk counter. I know I certainly will be as everything is so cheap but really good quality. Anyway, What is your best bargain makeup find?

Room tour | January 2014

Heyy, Today I thought I would do a room tour type post. These seem to be very popular on youtube and one of my favourite videos to watch but seeing as I don't have a youtube channel, I thought I would show you my room in pictures. I also just reached 2,000 followers on Instagram so I thought I would do this post to mark 2,000 followers. So get comfy as this is going to be a long one!

So the top photo is the view I get when I walk in the door. My room isn't the biggest but I have tried to make the most of the space. I love interior design and making the most of small spaces so this was a great thing to do.

I would also just like to say that I have quite a lot of clothes and things that I like to have hidden away so that is why I have a lot of storage space.

My bedding is from Next but I brought it in the summer so I'm not sure it is still available, The cushions, throw and sheets also from Next.

Lamp : Dunelm

My bedside table is probably one of my favourite parts of my room (apart from my makeup and wardrobe of course!) because its so simple but so cute. I love my lamp so much! About a year ago, Next came out with a vintage collection with a stack of teacups and a teapot lamp I think. These were the inspirations for my room, So I knew I needed to incorporate a stack of teacups in some way.

The glass jar is an empty candle glass and the wooden heart coaster that it is standing from was brought for me from Estonia and I think it is so cute sitting on my bedside tale.

The next place is to my window sill. This seems to have a bit more of a blue and white theme. The fawn which is pictured in the second picture was from asda in December as part of their December stock but it's to cute to put away and will stay out permanently. I also have the beauty and the beast book box. This is from a shop called Sass & Belle. Beauty and the beast was one of my favourite Disney princess story's and Belle was and still is my favourite princess.

The teacup and the glass trays which I use to hold my tea lights, were picked up from a car boot not that long ago and they were both brand new.

Over the top of my bed is extra storage space. The left cupboard is filled with books and magazines and the right has spare candles and candle holders and body sprays.

In the middle, I have my perfumes which are displayed on a mirrored plate, which you can't really see when you stand on the floor but it looks pretty when you reach for one when you are standing on my bed. It also has a vintage cupcake stand and crystal heart ring holder which were both picked up from a market. The three candles on the top shelf are from Ikea but I just can't bring myself to burn them.

The walls in the area above my chest of draws and on the wall next to it look quite plain. I just can't find anything to put there that I like anyway, onto my chest of draws.

My chest of draws are filled with clothes and beauty bits. I am quite an organised person so these draws usually stay very organised. If you would like to see how I organise my draws or wardrobe then let me know and I will write that post soon.

Anyway, on top of the draws I have a variety of things which probably wont stay like that once there are things on the walls as I'm not that keen on how it is set out but never the less, I will tell you about them. That tea cup photo frame (seeing a theme there) will house a photo soon, once I find one that roughly fits in with my colour scheme, I'm strange like that and that frame was from next last year when they had the matching tea pot lamp.

The rabbit night light is one of my faves as it is so cute and you can buy it here. I have a matching bunny light on my shelf but it changes colour so I tend to use this one more. To the left of that I have a little box with the quote:

"Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."

I love this quote as it reminds me not to look at the bad things in life but to turn them into positive things.

The box at the side was made by my mum so I am afraid you can't purchase it anywhere.

On my radiator, I have these two mice. I know they don't really fit in with the theme of my room but I have had them for years and the one with the green top on used to go everywhere with me. The really fluffy one with the red top on was the John Lewis Christmas toy a few years back.

My most favourite place in my room has to be my dressing table. I love it so much. I'm such a makeup addict so that would come as no surprise to you . I know I do have quite a lot of makeup for my age but not in comparison to some other people. I'm thinking of doing a makeup storage and collection post soon where I will talk about my organisation and storage in more detail.

I have also just realise how awkward the massive toilet roll looks. I forgot to move that before I took the picture and I have only just replaced it. It stays on my desk so that i can easily clean my brushes or wipe any spillages up from my desk.

My star lights were from pound land and they just add a cosy touch around my mirror and the tea cup candle was a Christmas present from boots.

I hope you enjoyed looking round my room. If you have any post requests then I'd love to hear them. I might do a Makeup collection and storage post and a wardrobe and chest of draws tour so let me know if you would be interested! Speak to you soon,
