It has been slightly warmer in the UK this weekend so I've been able to ditch the big winter coat and fluffy socks and embrace the couple of days we have in march where wearing things like shoes and no socks is alot more acceptable.

This is my first pair of Topshop jeans and I absolutly love them. I had a giftcard from Christmas that I still hadn't spent so I convinced myself to buy some jeans as they will last for ages and will never go out of fashion.

Anyway, I hope you liked this outfit post. I will admit that the picture aren't perfect as I left my SD card in my laptop and only had a limited amount of internal memory but I hope they do the outfit justice.

168 Eyeshadow palette | Review

Hello lovelies, today I'm going to talk about the 168 eyeshadow palette. I was given this for Christmas from my Mum and Dad and I have used it so much since then. I use this mostly for trying out different and more 'un-natural' makeup looks such as bright eye shadows and Halloween type looks.

Most of these shades are quite pigmented such as the blues, purples, blacks, pinks, reds etc. (see middle picture) All those colours are lovely and also apply to the eyes really nicely and look even better with a white base shadow. The only ones that aren't quite as good are the usual culprits like the yellows (see middle picture) but these are still buildable and work better with a white base shadow.

This palette would be great if you are a beginner with makeup or even if you are an absolute pro, it's perfect for everyone. There is such a range in colours and give you the ability to try and recreate so many different amazing looks. Another great thing about this palette is that it is so affordable and you can buy a similar one here for a very affordable price.

I know this wasn't a very long review but I'm going to try a post a makeup look including this palette to show you some amazing ways to wear these shadows! I hope you liked this review and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me anything!

MUA Velvet lip lacquer | Reveiw

Today I am going to review the MUA velvet lip lacquer. I think these have only recently been released but I hadn't been able to get my hands on them without ordering them however, I managed to get my hands on this one in a superdrug in Ipswich but they had very limited stock.

I bought one of them in the shade 'funk' as I wasn't keen on the shade 'kooky' as it is a little bit to dark for everyday use which I like to be able to wear a majority of my lipsticks on an everyday basis.

These lip lacquers don't go on your lips patchy and they really do make a statement. For £3.00 they are lovely for that price. I can't compare then with the Rimmel apocolips or any other lip lacquers, my only fault with them is that they are quite sticky on your lips to start off with but that usually drys quickly. They also last quite a long time but I always have it in my handbag for touch ups.

Would you rather? | Beauty edition

Today I'm going to do the 'Would you rather?' beauty tag. I thought it would be fun to do one of these for a change as I haven't done a tag on my blog before and I don't do many post where I'm not reviewing a product or talking about a new outfit so I thought this would be a nice change.

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
This one is quite easy for me as I'm a huge fan of lipsticks, eyeliners and mascaras so although I do wear eyeshadows, I think I could live without them.

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Chop off all my hair and let it grow back again (am I aloud to do that?) My hair is in quite bad condition, especially the ends as I use so much heat on my hair and really don't look after it but I am determined to start taking more care of it.

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Probably pink as there are so many different shades of pink out there and it goes with basically everything.

If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
I think I'd go for makeup because there is so many high end products I want to try but then again, there is a lot of clothing items I want at the moment so, I'm not actually sure!

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Lipstick as eyeliner as you can get really dark lipsticks and they come in a lot of colours if you look in the right places.

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
We don't have a Sephora in the UK so I have never shopped at it but I have looked online recently and you can buy a lot more at Sephora than you can at MAC so I think I would have to go with Sephora and we should get one in the UK.

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
Eyeshadow as lipstick is definitely my favourite!

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
I'm pretty sure that if you wore winter clothes in summer then you would melt but I suppose you could layer up summer clothes during winter and Summer in the UK is never really boiling hot so I still end up wearing jeans a lot of the time.

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Bright nails as there are more bright nail polish colours out there in my opinion although, I absolutely love my dark nails.

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
I could live without both as they each have alternatives but I'd have to say I would give up my favourite eye product.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I love messy buns but sadly, I am not very good at doing them so I would have to say ponytail.

Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
I very rarely use lip gloss so I would rather never use lip gloss again.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
Shave them off and then let them grow back as sharpied eyebrows look ridiculous!

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Live without nail polish as makeup plays quite a big role in my life.

February Favourites 2014

I didn't really find many things I loved throughout February as I didn't really try a lot of new products to include but I still found a few bits I would recommend. Also, I seem to be talking a lot about the same products recently and I apologise for that but I'll try not to repeat myself.

I'm going to get my random bits out of the way first and that is the Cadbury hazelnut hot chocolate which I have been totally obsessed with over the month and I'm now on my second jar of it which is rare for me as I don't drink hot chocolate very often but I have been drinking it in my vintage style Primark travel mug which has been coming everywhere with me recently.

The second thing is the song 'Say Something' by a great big wOrld featuring Christina Aguliera. Christina Aguliera is one of my favourite singers and I have been listening to this song on repeat throughout February.
The first two beauty bits are things for the face that I have picked up recently after hearing a lot of reviews and I have instantly fallen in love with each. They are also mentioned in my recent beauty haul so go and have a lot at them on there, along with some other recent purchases.

The first makeup product is the L'oreal true match foundation. I have been getting paler and paler recently and I have had to keep buying new foundations to fit my skin tone. My shade in this as the moment is N1 - Ivory which I think is the second from lightest if you were wondering but I love this foundation because it doesn't go patchy and it has a really nice coverage.

Next is my Benefit watts up highlighter which I have gone on about for what feels like ages but I really do love it. This is my first Benefit Item that I have actually purchased, all the rest I had as a free gift in Elle or glamour magazine so I didn't really know what to go for. This gives a really nice glow to the skin and it looks really pretty and I would definitely recommend it.

Next is my MAC Quad from the inner strength collection. This isn't available from MAC anymore I don't think as the collection was limited edition I believe but I bought this from Bicester Village at an outlet last year in July so you may still be able to track it down somewhere. The colours aren't really very visible when swatched, but they are buildable and you can achieve the perfect smokey eye using this palette.

Carmex is probably my all time favourite lip balm as it really works and I can usually feel the difference all most immediately. I tend to put it on before I go to bed and it leaves my lips really soft in the morning. My lips have been quite dry during February and January so this has been a lifesaver.

Lastly, I have an Avon lipstick in 'sequin' which I talked about in my last Fantastic Friday post so I am not going to go on about this lipstick too much. All you need to know in this post is that it is a gorgeous 'your lips but better colour' with a slight shimmer but still conditioning and that I have been reaching for this a lot!

So that's it for February's favourites and I can't believe it's March already. Whats your favourite products of February? I'd love to try them out!
