Dip dye hair extensions | Hairtrade

I was recently sent these gorgeous hair extensions from Hairtrade and I was asked to share my thoughts. Hairtrade sell some amazing goodies including good offers from all your favourite hair brands such as TGI, Moroccanoil and GHD along with many other nail care items and fragrances. They also sell a huge range of hair extensions so whether you want to lengthen your hair, highlight your hair, thicken your hair or add some cool colours into your hair, Hairtrade have a set to suit any ones needs.

These hair extensions also come in a variety of colours and dip dye colours. If you have short hair and/or thick hair like me, then you will probably need 2 - 3 sets as these are to thin to look natural with only one set. I created a look by mixing them with another set of 18" hair extensions to create a pretty up do with turquoise hints running throughout it.

As you can probably tell, this isn't me and is actually my mum who has shoulder length hair so I added the 18" set of hair extensions in to add volume and to thicken up her hair and then the blue ones slightly higher on her head to add the accent colour of turquoise. I took inspiration from Zoellas milkmaid braid video which is so easy to follow so you should definitely check it out. (This was also the first time I have ever tried to do this hair style so it might not be absolutely perfect but I still like it.)

Overall I absolutely love this pair of extensions. These retail for £19.99 and are the 18" set. I wish I had much longer hair so I could wear these all day everyday! I would definitely recommend that you check out Hairtrades website even if you aren't looking for a pair of hair extensions!

Cobalt Blue

Dress | WalG *
Watch | ebay
Clutch | Newlook (AW13)
Midi ring | Primark (Pack of three)
Statment ring | Primark
Boots | Primark (AW13)

WalG recently offered to send me a dress from their amazing line of clothes for me to try and style. I chose the royal blue cam dress as I thought it would be perfect for summer and I love wearing anything royal blue. This dress is really well made and at a really good price aswell. It is also lovely and light. If you are thinking of getting this dress then I would reccomend going a size bigger. I am usually a size 10 in most clothing items so I went for the medium option which is a 10-12 instead of a small which is a 8-10 and it fits perfectly.

Spookyeyes coloured contact lenses | Reveiw

I was kindly sent these contact lenses from a company called Spooky Eyes recently after wanting to try coloured contact lenses out for a while. They have so many different pairs to choose from on their website from very natural ones (like the ones I chose) to amazing Halloween ones so if your looking to try out some coloured contacts then I suggest you search here first! Mine took under a week to get to me and their p&p is free! What more could you want?

You can also buy care kits and solution to go alongside your contacts so that you can keep them for much longer than one wear, these are available here. Once opened, they last for up to 12 months.

Mine are soft contacts which make them weightless and flexible and look really natural. They are also really comfortable and high quality. Contacts are quite easy to put in once you know how despite what many people say. I have very dark brown eyes so when I put mine in, it made my pupil look huge as you can't tell the brown from the black but they look so cool and would look great on Halloween as a subtle feature.

Be who you are. | Motivational Monday #2

Being a teenager, I know that there is a lot of pressure put on you to 'dress perfectly', 'act perfectly' and to just fit in but is there such thing as  the perfect way to dress and to act?

In Society there will always be a certain stereotype that you're expected to be and a certain path you are expected to take. I get looked down upon by my peers because I do not wish to attend university, I do not wish to go to 6th form and get A-levels either. I just simply want to go off to college and study a subject I enjoy for a few years but sometimes it is hard to fight your case on why the 'right path' isn't the path you wish to take.

This is one of the quotes I have saved on my Ipad and will be printed out and hopefully put into my office/work area in the future as it is such a stand out quote for me. It reminds me that there is no need to follow the latest trends in topshop but instead to find your own trend and stick to that. If people give you strange looks well, they're clearly the sort who are stuck in a robotic trend follower bubble and do not know how to escape, and trust me, that is never a good place to be. Even the worlds greatest designers such as Coco Chanel and Yves saint Laurent started somewhere.

Sometimes the person you are expected to be, whether it is your parents ideal or the person society expects you to be, isn't always necessarily the best person for you to be. Only you know what is right for you and if you don't know exactly what you want to do in the future or what your personal style is then experiment - yolo (Yes, I just said yolo but it is quite fitting.)
