New Year, Fresh Start.

I can hear you saying it already: "It's not 2016 yet, the year hasn't gone that fast". This 'New year' is a new school year so obviously targeted at the younger readers still in school or education or for some of the people who choose to start their diaries in August - My personal favourite diaries, The, it's a new diary for you so that is also a new beginning.

Even if you had a really crap 'last year', going back to school or wherever you may find yourself could be a fresh start; Do something different and let things go if they made you unhappy or hindered you last year. If you want to be more organised this year and think you could try to use a calendar if it was on your wall, then buy that calendar and hang it on your wall. Make this a new you.

Everyday can be a fresh start. If you are going to a new school this year and want to make new friends or you really want to get good grades this year then do it. What's stopping you?

Let the past go, it's behind you and your path is forward. Don't let it stop you; It's never too late to change who you want to be.

The Reason Behind My Spending Ban...

Now as you would know if you either follow my personal Instagram, on Twitter or if you read my last blogpost then you would know that I was recently in America for three weeks and slipped up in quite a few shops, oops.

Now I use the term 'Spending ban' quite loosely, I haven't got quite that much dedication to be able to not shop especially with my favourite season just around the corner but instead I mean: 'Try and steer clear of MAC unless a purchase is absolutely necessary or easily justified.' It probably won't last long...

First off I just want to say if you are from the UK like me, I'm not sure how easy it is to get your hands on 'Giddy' as I can only find it on the US site so I'm sorry if it is only available in America. You can however purchase in a few different places such as on amazon if you are eager to get your hands on it.

I only bought three MAC lipsticks whilst I was in Florida and I was brought one for my birthday so I picked up 'D for Danger' which is a deep red colour, absolutely perfect for Autumn, 'Twig' Which is more of a dark nude which I absolutely adore so if velvet teddy is too light for you, Twig is a really lovely nude and is very similar in colour, just slightly darker so that might be worth looking into. I also picked up 'Giddy' which is my first ever lustre finish from MAC, I feel like it would be perfect if you prefer more natural lipstick or want something subtle for either school or everyday wear as it just leaves a really pretty pick sheen on the lips; I use it more for highlighting the middle part of my lips to create a fuller look.

Alice, who I have mentioned about 100 times here before, was the one to kindly give me a beautiful MAC lipstick for my birthday. She asked one of the shop assistants to pick out a colour for me and she chose the shade 'mehr'. Unfortunately, without knowing, I bought 'Twig' whilst on holiday which is very close in colour so I was able to exchange it for the colour 'New York Apple' which is a frost finish and looks really pretty on the lips and once again, a perfect colour for Autumn and Winter.

I haven't been able to get swatches of these on the lips but the swatches shown here shows them very similar to what they look like when worn. New York apple is shown as quite a light red here though but it isn't in person and is just slightly lighter than 'D for Danger' but is still just as stunning.

Have you bought any new MAC lipsticks recently? What colours should I try next?

A Little Update.

I am currently sat in Orlando airport outside Burger King waiting to board my flight so I am definitely not in the most glamorous of locations but I thought I had better update you with the happenings of my life at the moment.

The reason why new blogposts haven't really been coming recently is because I have spent the last three weeks in the USA, posing with princesses and dancing around the makeup aisles (where I spent waaaayyy too much money and have now got to buy new makeup storage and yes, there will definitely be a haul.) So I took my laptop with me but didn't bring my camera so I couldn't get new pictures uploaded to my blog in order to start writing posts while I was away but they will start again from now! Sorry though!

I will also hopefully be doing a Disney and maybe a Universal themed blog post once I get home and sort out all the photos but if you can't wait until then, I have posted tons of photos over on my personal Instagram so go and follow me here to keep in the loop of my day to day shenanigans!

I get my exam results on the 20th of August and start college in September so those are the upcoming events in my life incase you were wondering. I have got into a level two media makeup diploma where I will be training to be a makeup artist (as the name suggests) so my life is getting busy again but I really want to get content out to you so you will still be a big priority don't you worry!

Once I get home which is now (If you are reading this on Monday evening) and I get myself unpacked and all sorted out then blogposts should hopefully be getting back to normal again! Whoopee! But expect a few hauls and American blogposts; Hopefully that's alright!
